This mural lives within the Pediatric Electroencephalogram (EEG) Laboratory at Rhode Island Hospital, where we played off the unit’s existing nautical theme to create a calm, underwater scene. The piece was designed to be interactive: as each patient finished their time in the unit, they left behind a single thumbprint on the wall. Over time, all of those little thumbprints have grown into a sweet little school of fish, swimming together across the mural.
